Robert Wayne, un biologiste de l'évolution à l'UCLA qui étudie l'origine des chiens et qui fait partie de la recherche, a déclaré: "Il n'y a pas de personne travaillant dans la génétique canine qui ne travaille pas dur sur ce projet."
